How does CapstoneMD work with my insurance?
Our three programs work alongside almost all insurance carriers. We strongly recommend maintaining personal health insurance, as the cost of our programs is not covered by standard insurance policies. CapstoneMD is designed to complement your existing insurance, not replace it.
What if I have a high-deductible health plan and my preventive or acute care is out-of-pocket?
We encourage you to review our three program options to see how they can provide affordable, fixed-cost preventive and acute care tailored to your needs.
Can I sign up for ACCESS and continue using my current physician?
Yes. ACCESS is an add-on to your existing care network. At your request, we can confidentially share any relevant medical information with your current physician.
Why do I need to come in for a health assessment?
The health assessment is a key part of our CapstoneMD “asset management” approach. It provides a thorough evaluation based on age-related risk factors and your personal health history. Our goal is to identify risks early and proactively manage them.
Do CapstoneMD physicians accept children?
Yes. Most of our physicians are board-certified in Family Medicine and see children of all ages. (A few specialize in Internal Medicine and do not see children.) Please ask about our affordable family rates.
If I become ill or require extensive medical services, will my membership fee increase?
No. Your membership fee does not change based on your health status or medical needs.
